Imagine a time when colors were born from the earth and cave walls told stories of great animals. That is the magic of cave painting, and at PAAR, we invite you to discover it with your own hands.
In this experience, designed for both families and adults, you will use natural pigments such as iron oxide or charcoal, and you will even be able to grind them using authentic hand-mills, just as they did thousands of years ago. We will talk about mammoths, bison, and other animals from the most famous caves, such as Altamira or Lascaux, as well as the enigmatic drawings appearing in recent years across the Galician mountains. An opportunity to try the very first art of human history.
